A/Fuel dragster racer Mike Pawluk is from Vancouver and has lived and worked in the UK and Germany. This is his 19th season of racing and second with the current combination which is a Rodek 392cu in running on a maximum nitro load. Mike's local track is in Mission, British Columbia.

Eddie Kucker runs this immaculate '36 Ford in Hot Rod elimination.

Trey Sommers' '56 210 sedan runs in D/Gas (10.6 dial-in).

This high-riding Corvair with its supercharged engine is a striking vehicle.

Jeff Patton's Camaro runs in the National Muscle Car Association Championship.

Ron Hodgson's Nostalgia Funny Car is driven by his son Ryan. Ron was a member of the late Gordie Bonin's Funny Car team.

Jess Sturgeon drives the Neils & Park Donovan engined 7.0 Pro dragster.

Jeff Paulin is another member of the National Muscle Car Association and pulled a wheels-up launch.

Lawton Ferreira II's '48 Topolino runs in 7.0 Pro.

The Nitro Pirate 'Vette FC is owned by engine builder Les Leggitt. The latest driver is Garrett Bateman, 2009 NHRA Heritage series Nostalgia Funny Car Champion.

The driver of this beautiful Competition Coupe in NEII is Randy Winkle Jr.


An early contender for Pit Cart of the Event is this example, a re-imagined '55 Thunderbird.

This dragster took a good look at the trackside photographers before the driver corrected its wayward direction.

Bob Williams runs his '48 Anglia in C/Gas.
